Who is the course for?
The CBRN Practitioner course is aimed at health and emergency organisations who have /are looking to purchase decontamination equipment but have yet to begin instruction inusing it correctly. The course utilises the NHS Emergency PPS Ltd decontamination equipment and is therefore ideal for high-risk organisations that wish to implement a similar system. For organisations using an alternative set of equipment, the course can beamended as part of a consultancy service.

Minimum Entry Requirements:
16+ years of age. Full time employment either within the NHS or within an organisation looking to implement a decontamination system.

Certification:
Certificate of attendance. Issued by the Ambulance Service and valid for one year.

Duration:
One day.

Class Size:
Student / Instructor ratio of 12:1.

Who delivers it?
Commercial Ambulance Instructor.

Description:
Delegates completing the course will be able to identify all of their equipment, and be competent in the erection and breakdown of decontamination shelters, the installation ofgenerators, blowers, water heaters and associated equipment. The course syllabus alsoallows for all participants to practice a mock decontamination scenario.
